As our Marine & Utility Engineer, you will work with:

  • Participate in design of LNG ships, floating LNG terminals (FSRU, FLNG), CCS, FPSOs, movable drilling rigs, and other offshore constructions in hands-on project teams.
  • A wide range of tasks, from conceptual assessments to detailed design within projects of both new builds and conversion of existing units.
  • Responsibility of design of Marine & Utility systems typically consisting of defining system architecture, assessing layout/arrangement of equipment and specifying the various type of equipment within various support systems for cooling, heating, hydraulics, air etc.
  • Development of system design/diagrams (PFD, P&ID), equipment specifications, valve lists, reports, and other project deliverables.
  • Have direct contact with clients, project team members from other departments and suppliers.
  • Possibility of working with green and renewable projects contributing to achieving emission reduction as set by UN.

What we are looking for:

  • MSc or BSc in mechanical subjects or relevant engineering degree
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in offshore/FPSO/LNG projects
  • Must have knowledge of international regulations and standards as well as class regulations relevant for the maritime and offshore industry.
  • Design experience, preferably from engineering of ships and floating installation within oil & gas systems, wind, solar and/or aquaculture.
  • Experience or willingness to take on a role as discipline lead or project manager
  • Fluent level in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
