THE ROLE

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

The Advanced Materials for Optoelectronic research unit coordinated by Annamaria Petrozza is developing a research project, funded by the ERC Advanced Grant EDO - Electronic Doping of Soft Semiconductors - grant agreement n° 101200080 - to deliver protocols for intentional, spatially controlled, and stable electronic doping in metal halide semiconductors.

Within the research team, your main activity will be the electronic characterization of doped metal halide semiconductors and devices.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A PhD in Physics, Electronic engineering, Material Science and similar disciplines
  • Documented experience in the study of charge transport and structure-property correlation in soft semiconductors
  • Documented experience in the electrical/electronic characterization of metal halide perovskites and their devices
  • Good command in spoken and written English

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Experience in metal halide perovskite processing
  • Electronic Doping of Soft Semiconductors
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
  • Possess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • A yearly gross salary ranging between 45000 Euros and 47000 Euros
  • Private health care coverage depending on your role and contract
  • Candidates from abroad or Italian citizens who have carried scientific research activity permanently abroad and meet specific requirements, may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% from 6 to 13 years.
