Esports Operations Associate

This role supports the growth and success of Dallara AK Esports through business development, marketing, event coordination, and simulator operations. Responsibilities include driving brand awareness and customer engagement, supporting and executing simulator-based events and experiences, overseeing part-time staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across Dallara AK. The position works closely with internal teams and external partners to identify new business opportunities, expand esports programming, and deliver innovative experiences that support organizational goals.

Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Support revenue growth of Dallara AK Esports.
  • Increase brand visibility for Dallara AK Esports.
  • Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and market opportunities to identify strategies that strengthen the brand and drive growth.

Marketing & Events

  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and promotional activities for Dallara through Dallara AK Esports.
  • Coordinate communications with esports participants, partners, sponsors, and audiences.
  • Provide administrative and creative support to the Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and engagement strategies.

People Leadership

  • Train part-time staff on esports programs and operational procedures.
  • Schedule, supervise, and provide ongoing guidance to part-time staff across both locations.
  • Foster a positive team environment while ensuring high service and operational standards.

Operations Management

  • Manage the daily operations of The Sim Garage, ensuring exceptional customer experience and operational excellence.
  • Oversee simulator functionality and troubleshoot operational issues as needed.
  • Interface with Dallara IT and Dallara AK for technical issues.
  • Communicate operational needs, challenges, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Partner with other internal departments to identify opportunities to leverage esports for engagement, events, and employee programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable about motorsports, esports, gaming platforms, and simulator/audio-video technology preferred.
  • Knowledgeable about general functionality of PCs and gaming consoles.
  • Experience in sales, event operations, hospitality, marketing, communications, esports, or related fields preferred.
  • Experience in supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and supporting day-to-day operations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for motorsports and esports.
  • Familiarity with simulator technology, esports platforms, and event production equipment.
  • Experience managing social media, coordinating events, or supporting community engagement initiatives.

Schedule: Work schedule will vary based on business needs and may include evenings, weekends, and special events. Flexibility is required.

Travel: Travel to Speedway and event locations required.
