E&I Supervisor – Commissioning Phase

Position: E&I Supervisor – Commissioning Phase
Location: Poland, Gdańsk
Start: ASAP
Duration: 24 months, with the possibility of extension

We are looking for an experienced E&I Supervisor to join a major project in Gdańsk. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical and instrumentation works during the commissioning phase, ensuring that all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards. Experience in the Oil & Gas, Marine and large-scale industrial sectors will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise electrical and instrumentation installation and commissioning activities.
  • Oversee power supply, lighting, communication systems, control systems, and related E&I installations.
  • Ensure all installations comply with project drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Review electrical and E&I drawings, technical documentation, schedules, and work plans.
  • Monitor site progress and coordinate activities with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
  • Identify and resolve technical, quality, and installation issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and handover activities.
  • Prepare and maintain E&I documentation, inspection records, and commissioning documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental requirements.

Education:

  • Technical education or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in E&I commissioning, preferably on large-scale Oil & Gas, Marine, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control, and communication systems.
  • Good understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Good command of English and Polish, both written and spoken.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Valid Category B driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
  • Good knowledge of HSE, quality, and environmental standards.
