Research units focus on topics such as secure and trustworthy AI, physical AI and multi-agent systems while the deployment unit supports companies in identifying, evaluating and adopting AI solutions.

Our System User Knowledge platform and OGR-based network connect corporates, SMEs, startups and scientific partners, fostering collaboration and helping organizations accelerate their innovation journey.

Role Summary

Within our System User Knowledge platform, we are looking for a Business Operations Intern to support the day-to-day execution of operational activities across company engagement, documentation management and internal processes.

This internship is designed for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment at the intersection of innovation, technology and industry. The role offers broad exposure to business operations, stakeholder interaction and the practical deployment of AI initiatives in real organizational contexts.

You Will Work Closely With

  • Account Managers, supporting company engagement and operational activities.

  • Analytics Translators and technical teams, contributing to the preparation and organization of materials and information.

  • Internal operations and program teams, helping ensure consistency, efficiency and quality across processes.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, CRM systems and document repositories following team standards and priorities.

  • Prepare, review and improve presentations, reports and operational materials based on existing content and stakeholder input.

  • Support the preparation of meeting materials, summaries, reports and internal documentation.

  • Organize and structure information to improve accessibility, consistency and operational efficiency.

  • Use AI-enabled tools to support content creation, synthesis, formatting and document preparation, with appropriate review and supervision.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal workflows and operational processes.

  • Collaborate with team members across different functions to execute recurring activities with accuracy and reliability.

  • Support company engagement activities and operational coordination when required.

About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress (or recently completed) in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Scientific disciplines or related fields.

  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word and digital collaboration tools.

  • Ability to organize information and data in a structured and accurate manner.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving attitude.

  • Proactive and collaborative approach when working with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Interest in innovation, digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence.

  • Professional proficiency in Italian and English.

Nice To Have

  • Academic, extracurricular or project experience involving research, analysis, documentation or operational support activities.

  • Interest in manufacturing, industrial innovation and digital transformation.

  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and productivity-enhancing technologies.

  • Experience preparing presentations, reports or communication materials.

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, OneNote, Notion or similar knowledge management platforms.
