THE ROLE

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity.

The Human Capital, Organization, Health and Safety Directorate is coordinated by Cristiana Rossi.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • working as the first HR point of contact to give support by collaborating closely with Senior Researchers, and Personnel, deeply understanding their needs and lending a hand through human resources related matters;
  • supporting in planning the personnel budget;
  • managing recruitment activities and support Principal Investigators and Administrative Directors in identifying candidates fitting with the values and with future-proof skills and attitude;
  • managing the people lifecycle starting from the recruiting procedure to the hiring process, through all the administrative issues for EU and non-EU employees and collaborators;
  • supporting in managing the compensation & benefit policies;
  • collaborating in managing the MBO process;
  • supporting in identifying development plans to support professional growth and performance improvement;
  • managing the promotions and placement processes;
  • handling and resolving complex employee/collaborator relations issues;
  • collaborating with the colleagues of Human Capital and Organization Directorate in order to facilitate all the internal processes;
  • performing other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Master or Bachelor Degree in Humanistic disciplines or similar
  • previous experience of at least 2 years in middle and large sites HR departments or labor consultancy firms
  • fluent knowledge of the English language
  • good in time and priority management
  • a cooperative approach with the stakeholders
  • strong problem solving attitude with spirit of innovation and creativity

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • A yearly gross salary ranging between 30.000 and 33.000, which may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract
