About the Project:

Project Ceres is Perdaman Chemicals & Fertilisers’ flagship urea manufacturing development in Karratha, Western Australi. Perdaman Industries Urea Plant Project, a latest-generation fertiliser plant with a capacity of 2.14 million tonnes of urea per year.

The plant is part of a landmark project for Western Australia, generating on average 2,000 jobs during the construction phase and approximately 200 permanent jobs during the operational phase. The joint venture and Perdaman’s commitment to make a positive impact in the community are aligned, and a key aspect during the construction phase is to engage with the Indigenous and local communities through career, training and business opportunities ensuring long lasting social benefits.

Ceres - Chemicals and Fertilisers

Saipem Australia has been awarded the delivery of engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, construction, pre-commissiong and commissioning for Perdaman Industries. We are currently searching for an experienced Electrical &Instrumentation Supervisor on a 19:9 rotation to join our team on Project Ceres reporting to the Construction Manager.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

  • Supervise the execution of electrical works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, verifying that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and in the planned time frame.

  • Support the electrical subcontractors or the direct hiring personnel ensuring the feasibility (availability of drawings and materials) of the works.

  • Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel

  • Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures.

  • Assist subcontractors or assigned direct hiring personnel for the correct interpretation of the drawings, providing support in the solution of technical problems.

  • Ensure the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements.

  • Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by assigned direct hiring personnel.

  • Coordinate electrical installation activities with other department construction works.

  • Measure the progress of the works carried out.

  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Coordinate electrical installation activities with other department construction works.

  • Coordinate human and technical resources assigned, indicating any needs or surplus.

What are we looking for?

  • 7+ years’ experience working as an Electrical Supervisor or equivalent.

  • Relevant electrical licenses or certifications along with S26.

  • Experience within the installation of electrical substations.

  • Experience within a high-pressure construction environment.

  • Ideally experience within the oil & gas industry.

  • Experience within Commissioning.

  • Experience within the installation of electrical substations.
