Blood Bank Account Manager

GVS TM is seeking a Blood Bank Account Manager (remote) to develop and maintain strong customer relationships while driving long-term profitable revenue growth within assigned key and strategic accounts or markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with the North American Commercial Director to execute business strategies that increase revenue, protect existing revenue streams, and improve margins. This role also provides technical support for the Transfusion Medicine (TM) product portfolio, supports new product implementations, and delivers internal and external training as well as customer seminars.

The Blood Bank Account Manager will address customer issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement to ensure effective resolution and continued customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling, while securing new clients through strategic account development.
  • Develop and execute customer implementation and growth plans to achieve or exceed annual financial targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at strategic accounts, including Directors, Managers, and Supervisors
  • Participate in the implementation of commercial strategies to ensure successful product utilization and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide technical, quality, and regulatory support for the North American Transfusion Medicine product portfolio.
  • Deliver training, process optimization, and troubleshooting support for internal teams and customers.
  • Develop and facilitate customer communications related to product updates, enhancements, or discontinuations.
  • Maintain and update HubSpot or equivalent CRM tools related to the sales process.

Skills & Requirements

Education

  • Secondary Education – Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) – Preferred

Experience

  • Background in Life Sciences or Blood Banking specialization – Preferred
  • Knowledge of blood collection and processing – Preferred
