Job Title: Punch List Specialist

Location: Turkey

Job Description:

A Punch List Specialist for a Floating Production Unit (FPU) ensures the seamless handover of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems from construction to commissioning. They manage walk-downs, track deficiencies, and expedite issue resolution to meet strict offshore regulatory and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Walk-downs & Categorization: Lead multidisciplinary walk-downs to identify incomplete or non-conforming work, categorizing punch items (e.g., Cat A, B, C) based on safety and commissioning impact.
  • Database Management: Oversee Completions Management Systems (CMS) like ICAPS, MCPlus, or Zenator. Act as the gatekeeper for data integrity, parameterization, and population of tags.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Work closely with Construction Leads, QA/QC, and Commissioning Teams to plan task clearances and expedite the close-out of priority items.
  • Progress Reporting: Generate daily/weekly progress reports, tracking man-hours, materials status, and outstanding work list (OWL) items to prevent bottlenecks.

Key Qualifications

  • Background: B.S. or Diploma in Construction, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mega-projects, specifically within Oil & Gas floating assets (FPU, FPSO, FLNG).
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of marine structural integrity, piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Software Skills: High proficiency in Completions Management Software (CMS), MS Office (especially Excel), and 3D review tools (e.g., Navisworks).
  • Certifications: Valid offshore survival and medical certificates (e.g., BOSIET/HUET) may be required for shipyard or offshore scopes.
