Purpose of the position: as Infrastructure MEP specialist, you will join our Department of Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering, in the business line Sustainable Infrastructure, in order to develop the MEP design of railway and subway stations and the MEP necessary to ensure safety in railway and highway tunnels.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

Definition of design standards, the critical reading of those provided by the Client, the sizing of the systems and the preparation of graphic drawings or the coordination of any external designers, for the definition of the following plant systems serving the station building and those necessary to ensure safety in the tunnel.

  • Stormwater collection and pumping systems;
  • Escape route lighting/ventilation systems;
  • Water-fire systems of escape routes and fire-fighting points;
  • Gallery electrical distribution systems;
  • Fire alarm detection systems;
  • Telecommunication systems (PAGA, LAN);
  • Access control systems (CCTV, ACS/IDS).
  • Air conditioning and ventilation systems for both civil and industrial use
  • Internal, external and tunnel MT/BT electrical systems
  • Ventilation and smoke control systems in tunnels and escape routes

Also, will need to support the T&C office in developing technical specifications and work plans for Test&Commissioning of various systems.

Education: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Energy Engineering

Experience: +5 years of experience in the field of design and installation of systems serving buildings for stations, industrial applications and, preferably, also in those related to gallery safety.

Languages: English B2

Technical Skills: Good knowledge and experience in 3D modeling with BIM methodology; in particular, knowledge of the modeling software REVIT, Navisworks, Magicad is required.

IT Skills: Good Knowledge of specific software for sizing plant systems: HAP Carrier, Dialux.

Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics
