The role:

We are looking for an HV components Mechatronic Engineer to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), you will hierarchically report to the Head of Electric Drive and functionally to the Coordinator of E-drive system

You will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Development of assigned mechatronic components/systems for High Voltage application.
  • From concept phase to production including 3D/2D design, supplier interaction and all releases phases.
  • Being accountable for automotive and international standards for HV requirement, mechanical endurance and durability
  • Specific HV mechanical components design / definition such as electrical bus bars, e-motor resolver, cooling systems, battery cell spacers, module plate, insulation systems, etc.

About you:

  • Master Degree in Mechanics/Mechatronics/Automotive Engineering
  • At least 3/5 years in a similar role
  • Experience in HV system component design and development.
  • Excellent knowledge of CREO/CATIA Parametric CAD platform.
  • Basic knowledge of structural analysis tool (ANSYS or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of main manufacturing process technologies (e.g. casting, injection molding, welding, …)
  • Fluent English. Italian and German will be considered a plus
