The Quality Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Quality Inspection Plans, Control Plans, and related quality documentation in support of new product introductions and existing aerospace programs. This role ensures compliance with AS9100, ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
As a key contributor to the Quality Management System, the Quality Engineer actively drives continuous improvement initiatives by leading and participating in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and internal and external audit activities. The role works cross-functionally with Quality Inspectors, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to improve process capability, reduce non-conformances, and enhance overall product quality and on-time delivery.
This position offers the opportunity to play a hands-on role in maintaining aerospace quality excellence while influencing process improvements in a dynamic, precision-manufacturing environment.
