Industrial Controller - BU Italia

Finance

Based in our HQ in Zola Predosa (BO) and reporting to the Finance Manager BU Italia, the Industrial Controller will support the Controlling Team by providing current and forward-looking reliable and timely economic information and analysis used to facilitate decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and updating product cost structures, with meaningful analysis of industrial cost variances.
  • Developing and maintaining rolling forecasts for stock and inventory, identifying deviations from plan.
  • Producing labor productivity reports and analyzing key variances.
  • Preparing monthly stock and Cost of Sales data, including month-end inventory cut-off tests.
  • Updating standard costs for materials, labor, and overheads, and analyzing variances between actual and standard costs.
  • Attending Engineering Change meetings and assessing the financial impact of change requests.
  • Supporting Contribution Margin analysis against customer quotations, tracking changes and reconciling with the original business case.
  • Monitoring the financial performance of Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Managing Opex accruals and allocations.
  • Performing cost center analysis related to budgeting.
  • Preparing monthly management reports (P&L), with a focus on production cost centers.
  • Supporting Budgeting and Forecasting processes, especially for industrial areas.
  • Producing and analyzing machine and operator efficiency in collaboration with the Production Manager.
  • Creating sales reports to support business development teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of previous experience in a similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced English knowledge is required.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced communication and analytical skills.
  • Accurate, efficient and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks as needed.

The annual compensation range for this position is €45,000 - €58,000, with additional benefits.

This compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility.
