We are looking for a V8 Project Leader to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), you will hierarchically report to Head of Powertrain Design, Simulation & Development.

You will be responsible for steering the design of engine components, the design of engine systems and relative development processes, accordingly the overall specification(performance, weight… )by respecting the project plan in terms of timing and costs and in the perimeter of their single engine platform (V8, V12, ..).

  • Ensure Engineering Engine & Engine Components processes

  • Ensure engine and engine systems parts/components development from concept phase to series phase by defining proper technological solutions, considering also timing and costs

  • Ensuring components development by strong cooperation with colleagues in charge of simulations, electronic development, base calibrations, testing and engine assembly

  • Ensure design and position of components in the Virtual car taking in account the request coming from DMU Engine team

  • Ensure components deliveries within the project milestones related to Proto and series parts

  • Ensure modification management following Lamborghini systems and procedures

  • Managing the partnership with external engineering companies

  • Interface with SET Leaders for all technical issues related to engine development

  • Ensure development testing and analysis implementation by collaborating with Audi/VW colleagues for components performed as Group platform

About you

  • Master Degree in Engineering

  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive engine systems

  • Knowledge in engine function and engineering

  • Knowledge in engine system functions

  • Knowledge in Physics & mechanics

  • Knowledge in Hybrid technologies and fucntions

  • Fluent English. Italian and German will be considered a plus

  • Team work

  • Conflict management

  • Problem solving and analytical skills
