We are looking for an HV Components Mechatronic Engineer to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), you will hierarchically report to the Head of Electric Drive and functionally to the Coordinator of E-drive system
You will be responsible for the following activities:
Development of assigned component from concept phase to detailed content specifications (P - B – K release) by defining proper technological solutions (mechanics, electrical, architectural) accordingly with project plan indications (costs, timing, technical targets)
3D/2D design and data release according to project milestones.
Clearance/creepage calculations and HV system material selection according to international standards (i.e: IEC 60664-1, ISO 6469-1 / 3)
Specific HV mechanical components design / definition such as electrical bus bars, e-motor resolver, cooling systems, battery cell spacers, module plate, insulation systems, etc.
HV components vibration requirement definition / implementation according to internal and automotive international standards (i.e: VW80000, PV 8480, ISO 16750-1)
HV system mechatronics requirements definition for vehicle integration.
Being accountable of BoM and product lifecycle data management.
Support on HV system design for manufacturing with supplier
Support on Product description and assembly working instruction.
Support on constant technical discussions with external/internal stakeholders.
Support for DFMEA activity related to the assigned component
Providing technical specifications and proposal analysis to support to make or buy engineering decisions;
Integration of assigned component inside vehicle layout
Cooperation with whole vehicle development to define testing purposes for durability tests.
Cooperate with production and after sales during rump-up and production to problem analysis, resolution and product continuous improvement
Cooperate inside Electric Drive department to ensure the common goals
Act as problem solver inside KPM management organization for the assigned component
About you
Master Degree in Mechanics/Mechatronics/Automotive Engineering
At least 3/5 years in a similar role
Experience in HV system component design and development.
Excellent knowledge of CREO/CATIA Parametric CAD platform.
Basic knowledge of structural analysis tool (ANSYS or equivalent) is a plus.
Knowledge of main manufacturing process technologies (e.g. casting, injection molding, welding, …)
Fluent English. Italian and German will be considered a plus
