Procurement Excellence Junior Specialist

The Role:

The Procurement Excellence Junior Specialist drive the development, governance and continuous improvement of the Procurement function through the management of digital systems, process optimization, performance monitoring, supply chain risk management, and the integration of sustainability into sourcing strategies.

This role provides analytical insights to Category Managers, drives technological innovation, and leads the implementation of Procurement tools and process improvements, ensuring standardization, efficiency, and high‑quality information across the function.

Main Responsibilities of the role:

  • Data Analytics & Insights: Collect, structure, and analyze spend data to support Category Managers in strategic decision‑making. Develop dashboards and periodic reports on KPIs, savings, supplier performance, and spend trends. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across Procurement databases.
  • Tool Management & Digital Procurement: Manage key digital tools used within the Procurement function. Support the team, the internal stakeholders and the suppliers in the correct adoption and utilization of Procurement systems by providing training, documentation, and operational assistance. Monitor tool usage, identify improvement opportunities, and propose optimizations. Collaborate with IT and external vendors to maintain and evolve digital procurement solutions.
  • Management of Electronic Catalogues: In this context, the Sustainable Procurement Specialist, acts as a buyer in managing the electronic catalogs and the related suppliers. Perform analyses to enhance the automation of purchasing processes.
  • Embed ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria into supplier selection, evaluation, and qualification processes. Support the Category Managers in the definition of sustainable sourcing strategies aligned with corporate policies.
    Monitor suppliers’ ESG performance, promoting continuous improvement plans and coordinate supplier engagement programs. Prepare ESG-related procurement reports, contributing to sustainability reporting and supporting internal and external stakeholder requests. Lead sustainability-related procurement projects.
  • Risk Management: The role supports the Category Managers in ensuring business continuity. Define and monitor the procurement risk map. Ensure periodic reporting for management and compliance purpose. Support the implementation of digital tools for risk monitoring.
  • Process & Governance: Define, review, and optimize procurement processes, ensuring standardization across the organization. Lead digital transformation initiatives within the Procurement area. Support the transition towards more automated, data‑driven, and transparent processes. Identify market best practices and new technologies to innovate the Procurement ecosystem.
  • Project Management: Manage projects related to the implementation of new tools, modules, or processes. Track milestones, deliverables, timelines, and project KPIs. Ensure alignment between global processes and local requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: the role encourages collaboration between Procurement and internal stakeholders, ensuring the use of the Procurements tool and the respect of policies and procedures.
  • Global approach: the role support the different Countries in order to promote the standardization of the processes, the use of the same tools and the respect of the procedures. This role involves close collaboration with colleagues from various regions.
  • Perimeter: the Sustainable Procurement Specialist is directly responsible for the activities listed here above for all affiliates part of the Procurement Community (Swiss, France, Spain and Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, China and Russia).
