Job Summary

As a Corporate Procurement Intern, you will join our Procurement team and report directly to the Procurement Manager – Europe & Africa. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the efficient, compliant, and effective execution of procurement activities while providing administrative assistance to internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate administration of procurement processes within your assigned scope. Key responsibilities include Purchase Requisition (PR) creation, Purchase Order (PO) processing, Goods Receipt (GR) support, supplier onboarding, contract administration, and the coordination of day-to-day procurement activities. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and supporting the smooth delivery of procurement services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

You will support your team/tutor in:

  • PR Creation
    • Assist budget owners and stakeholders in creating Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
    • Maintain PR records in internal systems.

  • PO Creation
    • Create and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP systems.
    • Obtain and clarify required information to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
    • Communicate with budget owners, stakeholders, and the Finance department to ensure all necessary information is accurate, complete, and compliant.

  • GR Support
    • Support internal customers with Goods Receipt (GR) creation in the relevant systems.

  • Contract Administration
    • Support contracting processes, ensuring agreements are properly reviewed, documented, and executed.

  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
    • Collaborate actively with other departments to ensure procurement activities align with the Company’s overall strategy.
    • Strictly adhere to and implement internal rules and procedures in good faith.

Qualifications and Skills:

Your profile is a natural match if you have:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree - in progress or recently completed - in business administration or economics or accounting or supply chain management or related field, or relevant.

  • Experience:
    • Administrative experience in Procurement or Accounts Payable/Receivable is considered a plus
    • Erasmus or international study experiences is a plus

  • Skills:
    • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
    • Comfortable using common digital and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365)
