Purpose of the position: As Site Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that industrial facilities, machinery, and infrastructure operate safely and efficiently. Design preventive maintenance strategies, troubleshoot unexpected breakdowns, and manage budgets to maximize equipment reliability and minimize costly downtime.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

  • Ensure the structure and the classification of the onboard equipment and technical site.
  • Guarantee the correct and efficient maintenance planning and identify the concerning materials.
  • Guarantee in all areas the uniformity of the application of planned maintenance model in order to avoid creating and applying other different models.
  • Issue the WOs for each department every beginning of each month, contribute with the revision of the most important jobs to prioritize the jobs, spares availability, man power.
  • Ensure the correct and timely application of the planned maintenance models and their distribution.
  • Responsible for AMOS (Asset Management Operating System) operation and report daily updates/improvements or deviations on the AMOS system.
  • Ensure timely and correct laydown of technical reports and analysis.
  • Prepare the KPI concerning maintenance periodically.
  • Select the improving areas of maintenance guaranteeing the application of the new models.
  • Develop and implement workflows in CMMS to meet objectives.
  • Ensure lead role in improving and maintaining the company's CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) on site.
  • Plan, evaluate, and improve internal business processes and workflows to enhance, quality, efficiency, and time management.
  • Responsible for the training of the onsite CMMS software.
  • Support the creation of new assets and associated hierarchy in CMMS
  • Participate in asset criticality assessments, Failure, cause and repair, and Effects Analyses, Root Cause Failure Analyses, critical spares identification, and other group activities as required.

What are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field.

Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance.

Languages: Portuguese and Professional English.

Technical Skills: Preventive maintenance scheduling, root-cause analysis, equipment troubleshooting, and deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

IT Skills: Microsoft tools

What else should you know? All applicants must reside in Angola and possess a valid residence card, as Saipem is unable to offer sponsorships.
