YOUR TEAM

You’d be working in a group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research activities of the Foundation.

The Purchase Directorate is coordinated by Dr. Enzo Gelati.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support in the management and evaluation of Purchase Requisitions (including offer compliance, supporting documentation, and comparative quotations);
  • Conversion of Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders;
  • Support in managing the Purchase Order document workflow, including digital signature and subsequent submission to suppliers;
  • Support in managing and monitoring the document workflow related to Certificates of Proper Execution;
  • Upload of value-based acceptances and quantity-based inspections, as well as retrieval of CRE attachments.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a similar discipline will be preferred;
  • Familiarity with the main IT software packages, including Word and Excel;
  • A cooperative approach with the stakeholders;
  • Accuracy and good analytical skills.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Previous experience in Accounting in public environment;
  • Experience in purchase order issuance and supplier’s data management;
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and Archiflow tools
  • Knowledge of public procurement laws;
  • Good negotiation and communication skills;
  • Stakeholders oriented;
  • Strong problem solving attitude;
  • High motivation to learn;
  • Spirit of innovation and creativity;
  • Good at time and priority management;
  • Ability to work in a challenging and international environment;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary and multicultural environment;
  • Good command of spoken and written English.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • A yearly gross salary ranging between 22.000 and 24.000 euro
  • Wide range of staff discounts;
  • 2 days of teleworking per week;
  • Flexible working time.
