Chief Operating Officer - France

Elisa Industriq France formerly sedApta Osys, part group of the finnish Elisa Group, operates in the field of software and services that help manufacturers plan, optimize, and execute their operations more effectively.

Based in France and connected to a wider multi-country organization, we offer a dynamic environment where teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement are central to how we work.

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with experience in the software industry and a solid understanding of industrial processes and supply chains.

The COO is responsible for the company’s operational management, with a focus on execution, scalability, performance, and delivery quality. He/She works closely with the CEO and the leadership team to translate the company strategy into concrete actions and measurable results.

The COO reports to both the local CEO and the Corporate CEO and drives the growth and efficiency of the local subsidiary in close collaboration with all other executives.

Key responsibilities

Operational oversight: He/she is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of Delivery, Finance, and HR. He/She ensures seamless integration and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The primary focus is on appropriate allocation of delivery resources to ensure project quality, on-time delivery, profitability, utilization, and structured capability building.

  • Operational efficiency: He/she strives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency in order to increase company performance.
  • Finance: He/she manages budgets, monitors financial performance, and prepares financial reports in accordance with group guidelines and deadlines.
  • Performance management: He/she monitors and analyzes operational KPIs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the subsidiary achieves its objectives.
  • Change management: He/she plays a key role in leading and implementing change initiatives across the organization by addressing resistance and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Strategy execution: He/she translates the company’s strategic vision into actionable plans and oversees implementation across the organization.
  • Team leadership: He/she O leads and motivates teams and fosters a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Strategic planning: He/she contributes to the development of long-term strategic plans and ensures operational plans align with these objectives. He/She also helps identify and mitigate potential risks related to operations.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in operational or leadership roles within B2B software companies, ideally with a focus on industry and/or supply chain
  • Proven track record in effective people leadership
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, supply chain management, and related digital technologies (MES, ERP, WMS, APS, IoT, AI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of project-based cost control
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and scaling operations in high-growth environments
  • Strong understanding of project profitability KPIs
  • Analytical skills, results-oriented mindset, and strategic vision
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Native-level French or C2
  • Fluent English (written, spoken, presentations)
