As Pipeline HT and Pre-commissioning Engineer, you will join our TLINSTMET2 (a workgroup dedicated to the design, construction and installation of subsea facilities for the extraction and pipeline transport of hydrocarbon fluids. Within this context, the team is responsible for the design, planning, and execution of hydraulic testing, pre-commissioning, and pipeline preparation activities in general, aimed at obtaining the operational readiness of the system) conducting the following activities:

  • Performing hydraulic analyses using specialized calculation software
  • Preparing technical documentation
  • Reviewing technical documentation (including literature, internal documents, and external sources such as clients, partners, or suppliers)
  • Managing internal and external interfaces (e.g., preparing presentations, participating in meetings)
  • Supporting the Lead Engineer in managing third-party supplier contracts
  • Supervising tests at construction sites and supplier facilities
  • Overseeing activities on installation vessels

QUALIFICATION: Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on energy or thermomechanics

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Good command of the English language

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contract or Apprenticeship contract, (to be evaluated in the interview phase)

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 0 to 5 years

IT SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with software such as OLGA, FLUENT, HYSYS, as well as programming languages like Python, will be favorably considered.

SOFT SKILLS: Possession of strong logical reasoning and problem analysis abilities. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, with an emphasis on innovative solutions and critical thinking. Effective interpersonal skills that include the ability to cultivate collaborative and respectful relationships within diverse teams.

NICE TO HAVE: Knowledge and/or experience in testing, commissioning, and external supply management within the Oil & Gas sector is appreciated. Proven ability to work effectively in teams, collaborating with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals. Skilled in fostering open communication and mutual respect, essential for project success

LOCATION: Fano (PU), Italy.  Available to short o long assignment in Italy and/or abroad.
