ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP in Life Technologies / Microelectronics for Neurodevices

Commitment & contract: Erasmus Internship for undergraduate master students for 6 months, full time, from 15/1/2026 (flexible)

Location: Center for Converging Technologies (Via Morego 30, Genova)

THE ROLE

During your internship you will work on a project in the Group of Microtechnology for NeuroElectronics coordinated by Luca Berdondini. The activity of this group is predominantly in the area of Brain-Machine Interfaces.

Your activity will comprise :

  • Hardware (device and system) Development and Testing
  • Software Development
  • Evaluation of ethical issues in brain computer interfaces

And will allow you to develop competences in

  • Thin-film Technologies, Microelectronics, Device Testing
  • Neuroelectronics, GUI Development, Real-time Processing

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • To be registered as a student in master’s degree course in the area of Bioengineering or a cognate field such as Electronic Engineering or Physics.
  • Good command of spoken and written English

SALARY PACKAGE

No salary paid by IIT (applicants must rely on funding from their University’s Erasmus+ programme)
