Purpose of the position:

As Inspection Design Engineering Lead, you will respond to the Inspection Engineering Manager and be part of the Inspection Engineering Department (INSEN)] within Business line Energy Carriers (ENCAR).

 

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

  • Manage and liaise with the Client Inspection Engineering counterpart to ensure project execution remains within contractual boundaries and budget.
  • Supervise the work of external service providers.
  • Be responsible and accountable to the project manager for the inspection engineering scope of work, ensuring compliance with the assigned project budget and schedule.
  • Act as Team coordinator for multidisciplinary activities such as the baseline inspection.
  • Lead and coordinate the Inspection Engineering design activities, such as Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Inspection Plan, Baseline Inspection, in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure the capitalization of Project experience in order to improve and harmonize INSEN department work methodologies

Education:

Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Material / Chemical / Safety / Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years as a Project Engineering Lead within Oil&Gas field/industry

Languages: English Fluent and Italian as mother tongue

Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of:

  • Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology and software (API certification will be considered as plus),
  • NDT inspection methods for static pressurized equipment and piping (Certification in NDT techniques will be considered as a plus),
  • Inspection planning.

Fully aware of oil & gas plant related design documentation and drawings, which may include: 3D model, plot plan, P&IDs, PFDs, Line list, GA drawings, mechanical data sheets, vendor manuals, procedures, etc. Basic knowledge of material selection and corrosion discipline for Oil & Gas plants and Naviswork 3D Model software will be considered as plus.

IT Skills:

Expert of MS Office package. Ability to work with 3D software application, i.e., Naviswork Freedom and PDF editor, i.e., Power PDF Advanced.
