HR Business Partner

Are you a people-first HR professional ready to partner with leadership and make a real impact? We’re looking for a passionate and driven HR Business Partner  to join our growing team and help align our people strategy with business goals. Also you will participate in regional HR projects.

You’ll be a key link between employees and management, supporting a wide range of HR functions—from employee relations and performance management to compliance, talent planning, and culture-building. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where people are the priority, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
 

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with department leaders to support organizational goals through strategic HR initiatives.

  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, team structure, and talent development.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace matters.

  • Manage conflict resolution, coaching, and performance conversations.

  • Promote an inclusive, positive, and high-performance culture.

Compensation, Benefits & Support

  • Assist with benefits enrollment and leave management

  • Answer employee questions on pay, benefits, and policies.

  • Process payroll with ADP

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies and practices align with local, state, and federal laws (California knowledge a plus).

  • Help maintain employee records and support audits and reporting requirements.

  • Lead or support key HR projects and process improvements.

Talent Development & Engagement

  • Support onboarding, performance review processes, and career development planning.

  • Coordinate employee engagement and recognition programs.

  • Partner on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts.
     

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role.

  • Solid understanding of HR principles and employment law.

  • Processing payroll (experience with ADP a plus)

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel incl. Pivot tables and V-look Up)

  • Familiarity with California labor laws.

  • Exposure to DEI, engagement, or L&D initiatives.
