As Offshore Method Engineer, you will join our Department INSTMET conducting the following activities:

  • The engineer will be part of the Subsea Installation Engineering team, which main scope is to develop the procedures and apply the installation methods and technics to deploy subsea all the components and subcomponents of a hydrocarbons field development, relative to both deep and shallow water applications;
  • The activities involve the use of specialized construction vessels and equipment, aimed at the installation of subsea components such as manifolds, jumpers, flexible flowlines, rigid pipelines, risers, power and control system links, as fiber optic, flying leads and umbilicals, jackets, decks, etc.;
  • The engineer has to support the technical proposals or to be involved in the execution phase of EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) or T&I (transport and installation) Projects for the relevant area and discipline of responsibility. In relation to the specific activities, he will be called to collaborate with other subsea method engineers and draftsmen and to report to a Lead Methods Engineer;
  • The engineer shall be available for short missions or long term international assignment contract on a project basis (duration of one/two years could be expected).

QUALIFICATION:

Graduate with University degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE:

Fluent both in verbal and writing

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

1 or 2 years of past experience in installation engineering will be a plus

IT SKILLS:

  • Microsoft office suit (word, excel, power point at least), Microsoft Project will be a plus
  • Autocad

SOFT SKILLS:

Flexibility, Problem solving, Initiative, Focus to results, Communication

LOCATION: Fano (PU), Italy  -  Availability to work abroad if required
