As Sealine Engineer, you will join our Department TLSEATRUN1 conducting the following activities:

  • Subsea System Design Engineering with specific reference to structural analysis of subsea pipeline (pipeline wall thickness sizing, on-bottom stability, in place static and dynamic analyses, preparation of technical deliverables such as technical reports and drawings, etc…)
  • Technical activities associated with Sealine System Procurement with specific reference to the preparation of material take-offs, request for quotations, technical bid evaluations, and vendor follow-ups during project execution.

QUALIFICATION: Graduated in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a strong focus/preference on structural engineering.

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Min B1

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Apprenticeship contract

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 0 to 2 years of experience

IT SKILLS:

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Proficiency in Finite Element (FE) software such as Abaqus, Ansys, or equivalent.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical abilities to assess complex data and provide insightful solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and situations.
  • Problem-solving orientation to identify issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Decision-making capabilities to make informed choices under pressure.
  • Effective time and priority management to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Willingness for short-term and long-term assignments abroad.
  • Comfortable working in offshore and onshore environments such as construction vessels and yards.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Previous & proved experiences in mechanical and structural engineering design.
  • Skills in software development with the following languages:
    • Matlab
    • Python
    • Fortran

LOCATION: Fano (PU), Italy. Available for missione and long assigment in Itlay and abroad
