THE ROLE

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity.

You will join the Tenders Office, which is part of the Purchase Directorate, composed by professionals in the field of public purchases, managed by the Tender Office Coordinator.

You will have the opportunity to increase your level of knowledge of the public contract code, for a variety of different products and services, in the exciting environment of research.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the activities related to the procedures for the assignment of goods and services for amounts greater than Euro 40,000.00 (VAT excluded) and works for any amounts, in accordance with the current legislation on public procurement and with internal purchase procedures, following the various procedural steps in their entirety;
  • Supporting the drafting of the tender documentation and the publication of the tender procedure;
  • Supporting the management of the tender, up to the drafting and signing of the contract.

You will daily and in-depth deal with the legislation of the Procurement Code and the main services that Anac (FVOE, AUSA, etc.) makes available. Knowledge of the aforementioned legislation therefore constitutes a preferential title.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master or Bachelor degree in the Legal Field (or similar) or previous experience in the role (also as Economic operator);
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Strong focus on stakeholder needs and expectations
  • Cooperative approach with the stakeholders
  • Accuracy and good analytical skills

  • Knowledge of the legislation of the Procurement Code
  • Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem solving attitude
  • High motivation to learn
  • Good at time and priority management
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • A yearly gross salary ranging between 27k and 34k, which may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract
  • Private health care coverage
  • Two days of teleworking per week and flexible working hours are available for certain roles
