THE ROLE

You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where physicians, psychologists, biomedical engineers, computational scientists, physicists, chemists, and biologists collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.

The Multiscale Brain Communication Research unit is coordinated by Prof. Luciano Fadiga, who has extensive experience in Neurophysiology.

The research focuses on studying the mechanisms by which the brain processes and understands the communicative behaviors of other individuals. This includes the study of sensorimotor communication, in healthy participants, by means of non-invasive neurophysiological methods.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • non-invasive neurophysiological experimental design, set-up validation, data acquisition and data analyses
  • drafting research papers

This open position/research is financed by  Regione Liguria  within the  “Voluntary movement, corticospinal excitability and intracortical circuitries in patients with  Autism Spectrum Disorder and Cerebral Palsy: excitatory/inhibitory imbalance of the motor cortex as a possible Autism Spectrum Disorder biomarker” project.
