THE ROLE

You’d be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where engineers, psychologists, computer scientists and cognitive scientists collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.

The Cognitive Architecture for Collaborative Technologies (CONTACT) Research Line, led by Dr. Alessandra Sciutti, investigates the sensory, motor, and cognitive bases of human social abilities, to integrate them in our technologies to support their social awareness, adaptability, and autonomous learning. The Human-Robot interfaces and Interaction (HRI²) Research line is coordinated by Dr. Arash Ajoudani, who has extensive experience in physical human-robot interaction, applied machine learning, mobile manipulation, robust and adaptive control, assistive robotics, and tele-robotics.  U-VIP is a multidisciplinary unit that has the goal of i) studying cognitive neuroscientific development of children and adults with and without sensory impairment and ii) developing and validating new multisensory technology to improve quality of life of children. The research line is coordinated by Monica Gori who has extensive experience on multisensory development and technology.

We are looking for a dedicated technician to join our teams: CONTACT, HRI² and UVIP, in the framework of the Technologies for Healthy Living flagship.
