Logistic Direct To Consumer Manager
Based in our HQ in Carpi (MO), we are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Logistic Direct To Consumer (DTC) Manager to coordinate operations for both our Retail and E-commerce channels.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the distribution of products to physical stores and online customers, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the distribution of products to our retail stores and e-commerce customers, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery times, reduce operational costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency in the sportswear sector.
- Supervise storage center activities and ensure product availability matches customer demand across the channels.
- Manage the shipments of online orders, working with couriers and partners to ensure quick and reliable deliveries, enhancing the customer experience.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with transport service providers, warehouses, and couriers to ensure optimal performance and support the brand’s growth.
- Track performance indicators such as lead time, transportation costs, and delivery accuracy, proposing solutions for continuous improvement to meet customer expectations.
- Focus on optimizing logistics processes to ensure fast, reliable, and hassle-free deliveries for our customers, minimizing delays and enhancing satisfaction.
SKILLS:
- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the Retail and/or E-commerce sector, with a focus on the sportswear industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, warehouse management, and omnichannel distribution strategies specific to the sportswear sector.
- Proven ability to manage logistics operations that balance efficiency with high service standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and process optimization.
- Proficiency in logistics management software (WMS, TMS, ERP) and IT tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing supplier and partner relationships.
- Fluency in English and Italian, both spoken and written
- International experience is a plus
