As Equipment Development Specialist, you will join our Department of Offshore Pipelines Technologies Operations (PTOPE), in the business line ABSER. You will be part of the welding equipment/NDT/FJC development team, performing the following tasks:

  • Fully understand the processes implemented by the equipment
  • To develop technical specifications of welding/NDT/FJC equipment
  • Technical follow-up of the tender by interacting with suppliers
  • Executive project & technical management
  • Acceptance test, test supervision in Saipem laboratory and on-board installation.

QUALIFICATION: Technical Diploma and/or master’s degree qualified in Electronic, Automation or Mechatronic engineering. For technical diploma, it will be considered only significant experience in electronics/automation development of machinery;

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: B2/C1

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

· 3 years of experience for graduates; 5-6 years for diploma holders.

· Experience and aptitude in machinery design and/or integration in industrial environment with preference for electrical engineering or automation    aspects. Candidate can fully understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Knowledge of data integration bases and modern PLC-    based architectures is required.

LOCATION: Milano HO. Willingness to travel worldwide for missions lasting from 7 to 45 days on Saipem's naval vessels or land-based prefabrication yards
