Legal Advisory Specialist

The Role:

The Legal Advisory Specialist will report directly to the Legal Director and must possess a strong understanding of Italian civil, commercial, and corporate law, with particular familiarity with manufacturing chain regulations and compliance frameworks, including Legislative Decree 231/2001.

Main Responsibilities of the role:

  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policy papers, for both the Headquarters and the Affiliates.
  • Legal Research: Conduct research on legal matters that may impact the company, ensuring compliance with evolving laws and regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company’s operations adhere to local, national, and international laws and regulations, particularly those specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution Support: Provide assistance in managing legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and update a library of contract templates, legal records, and regulatory documents.
  • Internal Legal Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage legal resources effectively and provide cross-functional legal assistance.

What we are looking for:

Education: Law degree from an accredited institution.

Experience: Prior experience in a legal role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

Legal Knowledge:

- Corporate Law: Understanding of corporate law principles and practices.

- Laws and Regulations: Understanding of Italian and EU law principles and practices. Familiarity with laws and regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry, such as  D.Lgs. 219/2006

Skills & Attributes:

- Legal Research & Analysis: Ability to conduct in-depth research and interpret complex legal issues.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address legal and regulatory challenges effectively.

- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external legal partners.

- Time Management: Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

- Documentation: Efficient management of legal documents and records.

- Accuracy: High level of precision in drafting and reviewing legal documents.

- Compliance-Oriented: Ensuring all legal activities align with applicable laws and regulations.

- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for legal documentation and presentations.

- Language Skills: Fluency in Italian and English is required.

- Adaptability & Proactivity: Flexibility to navigate an evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
