Saipem S.p.A., International Contractor with a key role in today’s energy transition process, is looking for a Project Information Manager.
The Project Information Manager is a professional who works within an EPC organization to ensure the efficient and accurate management of project information.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project information management best practices, as well as experience managing large amounts of data. Also, he/she should have good knowledge of EPC processes and project management tools.
The primary responsibilities of the Project Information Manager include defining project information management requirements, establishing data management procedures, managing regulatory compliance and data security policies, defining specifications for information management systems, project information, and supervising personnel who manage project information management activities.
PIM ensures the identification, implementation, and correct functioning of most appropriate Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT) solutions for business project needs, according to defined targets in terms of quality, costs, time schedules and service level. Duties include, in relation to assigned competency:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management or a related discipline, and at least 2-3 years experience in the role of Project Information Manager on EPC projects.
In addition, he/she should have good knowledge of project information management software, such as EDMS, Hexagon suite, Aveva Suite or similar, as well as good knowledge of project management software, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project or similar.
Knowledge of Data Model definitions, based on international Standard (CFIHOS, ISO 15926) is preferred.
A fluent English is essential, being an international work environment.
The Project Information Manager should be a highly organized individual, with a strong attention to detail and deadlines, as well as skilled in managing relationships with colleagues, suppliers, customers and other project stakeholders.
