International HR Compensation Specialist

As International HR Compensation Specialist, you will join our Compensation & Benefit Department

Within the Compensation & Benefit team of Saipem, based in Milan, the person, reporting directly to the Head of Compensation, will be responsible for managing compensation policies for international staff. This role is crucial to ensure that compensation practices are competitive and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with foreign branches, contributing to international compensation projects.

ACTIVITIES

  • Analysis and development of compensation strategies that meet corporate needs and market studies.
  • Collaboration with the corresponding human resources functions in local branches to define compensation structures and incentive plans.
  • Monitoring market practices in terms of compensation, ensuring the competitiveness of the offer.
  • Preparation of analytical reports on staff compensation levels and the effectiveness of compensation policies.
  • Support in managing the annual salary review process.
  • Coordination with external providers for managing compensation surveys.
  • Promotion of a culture of transparency and communication regarding compensation systems.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION: Degree in mathematics, economics, management engineering or related fields. A degree Human Resource Management or related fields is considered a plus.

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Proficiency in English is an essential requirement. Knowledge of French and Portuguese will be considered a plus.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience in compensation benchmarking activities in Consulting companies or in the Human Resources Department of medium to large companies. Given the company's international profile, professional experience abroad will be considered a plus.

IT SKILLS: Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly of Excel.

SOFT SKILLS: Excellent communication, analysis, teamwork, proactivity, and problem-solving skills.

LOCATION: Milan

Willingness to travel abroad is required
