Dallara Automobili S.p.A.

Vehicle Dynamics Engineer

Who We Are

The history of the Dallara Group began in 1972 when Engineer Giampaolo Dallara, after significant work experiences at Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, and De Tomaso, founded "Dallara Automobili da Competizione" in Varano de' Melegari, a small town near Parma. Today, the Dallara Group comprises over 800 people and is one of the most important entities in the design, development, and production of high-performance racing cars.

Dallara is the sole supplier for championships such as IndyCar, IndyNXT, Formula 2, Formula 3, EuroFormula, Formula E, and Super Formula. Additionally, it develops and produces some of the cars competing in the WEC and IMSA championships and offers consultancy in other competitions, including NASCAR.

Since the early 2000s, the Dallara Group has provided specialized consulting and professional assistance to manufacturers and racing teams for developing both racing and road cars.

On November 16, 2016, the Dallara Stradale was presented, the first road car bearing the Dallara name, which represents Engineer Dallara's dream and the culmination of nearly 50 years of experimentation. Subsequently, the Dallara EXP was developed, a track version of the Dallara Stradale, embodying the spirit of racing, with extreme performance and the highest safety standards according to FIA requirements.

In recent years, the Dallara Group has expanded its scope by collaborating on the development of solutions for the aerospace and defense sectors.
