As Risk Analyst Expert, you will join our Department/Function Technical Safety & Environment, in the business line Encar, conducting the following activities:

  • Perform and/or manage risks analysis activities (QRA, FERA, etc.) and RAM analysis for different designs and arrangements, and for various project phases, from Feasibility Studies to Front-End and Detail Engineering design;
  • Interface with Clients on technical issues on methodologies, assumption registers and findings related to risk assessments and RAM analysis;
  • Preparation and participation to Client meetings;
  • Evaluate suppliers and sub-contractor bids involved in risk assessment studies and RAM analysis;
  • Manage engineering sub-contractors and Suppliers;
  • Independent and confident writing of reports and technical documentation;
  • Manage own tasks and activities within the agreed schedule and budget;
  • Contribution with specific expertise to highly skilled multi-disciplinary team;
  • Contribute to the development and to the continuous technical improvement of internal work methodologies and procedures.

QUALIFICATION: Degree or Bachelor Degree

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: B2

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience in Fire Safety and Risk Assessment methodology and activities within the Oil & Gas Industry, ideally both for onshore and offshore fields.

In-depth understanding of safety studies and risk management, e.g. QRA, FERA, BRA, Marine Risk Assessment, Dropped Objects Risk Assessment, Safety Case, etc. A good knowledge of industry standard consequence modelling and risk software (e.g. PHAST, Safeti, etc.) is required.

IT SKILLS: MS Office applications and Office365 suite

SOFT SKILLS: Self-motivated thinker able to work both independently and as a part of a larger Team. Confident in presenting in front of Clients (existing or new).

Good communication, problem-solving and decision making. Ability to manage teams during workshops and review meetings.

NICE TO HAVE: Experience in RAM analysis and knowledge of the main commercial software for their development (e.g. MAROS, RAMP, etc.) is preferred, but not strictly required.

Experience in CFD analysis and knowledge of CFD simulation software package (e.g. FLACS, KFX, etc.) is preferred, but not strictly required.

LOCATION: Milano. Availability to business trips/missions.
