Training Design & Delivery Specialist

As Training Design & Delivery Specialist, you will join our People Learning & Development Department

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training courses, with a particular focus on behavioral/managerial, cultural, and technical content. For the latter, the candidate will collaborate with experts in the relevant subjects.

In collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, the candidate will be expected to:

  • Analyze training needs
  • Define course objectives and content, in line with Saipem's value, behavioral, and strategic models
  • Select the most appropriate methodologies and tools
  • Prepare or contribute to the preparation of training materials and resources
  • Deliver, coordinate, or support training, depending on the case
  • Evaluate the results and participant feedback
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, update materials, and participate in internal and external communication initiatives

The candidate will also participate in the design and delivery of Train-the-Trainer programs and support internal technical experts in identifying the most effective methods for delivering courses within their area of specialization.

Excellent written and spoken English language skills are required to manage courses in foreign languages or with international speakers.

The candidate may be integrated into an internal training center/academy structure and, in addition to the activities outlined above, may be involved in managing course accreditation and the operational activities of the training center/academy.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or Education Sciences. Alternatively, a degree in other humanities, economics, or engineering disciplines with a focus on training/organizational aspects.
  • 4-5 years of previous experience in course design/training roles, preferably in both technical and behavioral/managerial areas.
  • Experience as a Train-the-Trainer instructor.
  • In-depth knowledge of key theories and techniques in training, education, and effective communication. The candidate should be able to utilize various training methods (e.g., lectures, workshops, role play, case studies, simulations) and integrate elements of gamification, storytelling, coaching, mentoring, etc., based on needs and appropriate classroom management techniques.
  • Motivation to work in a complex organization and enthusiasm for people development.
  • Ability to work in a team, manage relationships with internal and external clients, adapt to different contexts, and solve problems.
  • Project management skills and operational autonomy.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in the use of presentation software, video conferencing tools, and e-learning platforms.
  • B2/C1 or higher level of English, certified by a recognized institution or demonstrated through a practical test.
  • Experience in producing e-learning content and using digital tools (e.g., virtual reality) for training will be considered a plus.
