Industrial Hygienist

As Industrial Hygienist, you will join our Corporate Staff department conducting the following activities:

• Periodically planning Industrial Hygiene campaigns for vessels/logistic bases/fabrication yards, accordingly to the expiring dates of previous surveys
• Selecting, as per available frame agreements, the supplier to be involved in Industrial Hygiene campaigns
• Participating at Group level, upon request by department in charge, to the Industrial Hygiene suppliers’ selection
• Follow-up of the industrial hygiene improvement actions
• Support asset in the definition of improvement plans
• Consolidate results and propose improvement plan
• Support the projects in performing gap analysis between existing survey results and projects industrial risks
• Acting as a mediator between suppliers and referents of vessels/logistic bases/fabrication yards in the emission of preparatory administration documents
• Checking the Industrial Hygiene reports before sharing them with the final addressees
• Updating and sharing the actions tracking registers with the involved referents
• Collecting the Industrial Hygiene reports, the action tracking registers and updating dedicated database accordingly
• Supporting, as per own competence, vessels/logistic bases/fabrication yards referents in case of issue related to Industrial Hygiene
• Periodically updating Industrial Hygiene documents to be shared with management (e.g. presentations, records, etc.)
• Accompanying, when required, technicians in their Industrial Hygiene surveys onboard or in site
• Participating, at Group level, to the drawn up of the Industrial Hygiene applicable procedures
• Monitoring changes to regulatory or group Industrial Hygiene requirements


Successful candidates for this position will have:


• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent experience or higher degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Science or other engineering field
•3+ years professional experience in Industrial Hygiene field
• Highly proficiency both written and spoken in English
• Knowledge of Office package
Saipem Classification - General Use
• Experience in Occupational Health and safety risk evaluation process
• Knowledge of the main Industrial Hygiene’s European standards
• Valid BOSIET certificate (preferred)
