Learning Experience and Instructional Designer

The Digital Learning Experience and Instructional Designer is a key role that enables an effective adoption of new digital tools. You will have to lead the process of training plans creation and execution, and, in collaboration with the team, measuring training efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities and challenges will include, within the perimeter of the digital transformation, as minimum, being not necessarily limited, the following:

  • Understand the learning needs of employees/users, identifying learning objectives and defining expected outcomes;
  • Create a curriculum or training program that covers all necessary topics in a logical and coherent format, including sustainment plans;
  • Design and Develop a variety of learning materials, such as presentations, videos, quizzes, hands-on exercises, Scorm LMS ready contents, Gen AI enabled learning contents, DAP journey etc;
  • Evaluate, superintend and ensure the implementation of DAP based users’ support and training experiences and journeys;
  • Supporting the maintenance of the training contents, when changes on the digital solutions occur,
  • Use pedagogical principles to guide the design of learning experiences that are engaging and effective; This can include problem-based learning, collaborative learning, game-based learning, etc;
  • Create or implement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of learning, such as tests, feedback surveys, etc;
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to continuously improve the learning experience;
  • Ensure the capitalization, training, promotion and worldwide dissemination of the technological know-how developed, in cooperation with the functions of the companies involved;
  • You will have to work hands on and/or manage the work of internal and external team members.

Skills and qualification

  • A degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field are considered a plus;
  • You need to have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in organizational change management contexts;
  • You need to have excellent communication skills and be proficient in English (minimum B2 level);
  • You have to assess and be ready to navigate complex negotiation and alignment of stakeholders expectations, in ambiguous contexts;
  • You have to work well in a team and with various stakeholders;
  • You have to be curious and passionate about Technology-Human link;
  • Proficiency in creating effective learning experiences and materials is required;
  • Familiarity with SCORM standards and experience with Learning Management Systems is required;
  • Experience in developing a variety of learning materials, such as presentations, videos, quizzes, etc. is required;
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled learning contents, DAP journeys, and other digital tools is very appreciated;
  • Skills in UX/UI best practices are important; These include understanding the principles of design, user experience, and user interface, and being able to apply these principles to create effective and rewarding training and learning experiences;
  • Skills in project management can be beneficial; These include understanding project management methodologies;
  • Certifications in instructional design, e-learning, or a related field can be beneficial.
