The Digital Communication, Multimedia and UX/UI Expert is a key role that helps, on one side, the effective and proactive mobilization of people to be the change and, on the other side, to report and communicate, to the diverse and specific audience of Stakeholders, the impact generated by the adoption of new digital solutions.

  • You will be responsible for designing/developing comprehensive communication strategies that support Saipem’s digital transformation initiatives; This includes identifying key messages, target audiences, and the most effective communication channels;
  • A significant part of your role will involve designing/creating engaging multimedia content; This could range from written articles and blog posts to videos, infographics, and interactive web content;
  • You will be expected to utilize/promote the utilization of generative AI technology to design/create innovative digital content; This could involve anything from automating content creation to personalizing user experiences;
  • It will be your responsibility, in collaboration with Internal communication team of Saipem, to ensure that all digital communication is clear, concise, and effectively conveys the intended message; This includes overseeing the quality of all digital content and ensuring it aligns with Saipem’s brand and communication standards;
  • You will liaise early with the Saipem team in charge of developing new digital solutions to oversee the timely and correct application of UX/UI principles;
  • You will work within the Change Management and Digital Solutions Adoption team to facilitate smooth transitions and promote the adoption of new technologies within the organization; This might include consulting on training and user support materials and experiences according to the principles and best practices of human centered design, user interface/user experience;
  • You will have to cooperate with the team and the organization in measuring and communicating the adoption progress and the return on digital innovation:
    • Promoting, in collaboration with the business, the design of purpose-built KPIs that align with Saipem’s business objectives and digital transformation goals; These could include metrics related to system performance, process efficiency, and return on investment;
    • Guiding data analysis experts to extract usage data to understand how employees are interacting with new digital solutions, or analyzing business data to measure the impact of these solutions on business performance;
    • Gauging people’s satisfaction and happiness as a result of the digital transformation; This could involve conducting surveys, facilitating focus groups, or analyzing feedback to understand how the changes are being received by the employees and management;
    • You will be reporting and communicating on the progress of the digital transformation, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement;
  • You will have to work hands on and/or manage the work of internal and external team members.

Skills and qualifications

  • A degree in Communication, Digital Marketing or a related field is a plus.
  • You need to have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in organizational change management contexts;
  • You need to have excellent communication skills and be proficient in English (minimum C1 level);
  • As Digital Communication Expert, you will be the bridge between the technical team and the rest of the organization; Your ability to articulate complex digital concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner is crucial; This includes excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills;
  • You have to assess and be ready to navigate complex negotiation and alignment of stakeholders expectations, in ambiguous contexts;
  • You have to be curious and passionate about Technology-Human link;
  • A thorough understanding of communication principles is essential; This includes knowledge of different communication models, techniques for effective communication, and understanding the impact of communication on an organization’s success;
  • Proficiency in using advanced software for creating multimedia content is crucial; This includes graphic design software, video editing tools, and content management systems;
  • Experience with generative AI technology is desirable. This includes understanding how these technologies work and how they can be leveraged to create innovative digital communication content;
  • Skills in web design and UX/UI development are important; These include understanding the principles of design, user experience, and user interface, and being able to apply these principles to create effective digital communication experience;
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, content marketing, and social media marketing, is for sure beneficial;
  • The ability to analyze data and use it to inform communication strategies is a valuable skill; This includes understanding data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Data mining and process mining understanding can be of help to overcome the challenges in measuring and communicating the adoption progress and the return on digital innovation;
  • Skills in project management can be beneficial; These include understanding project management methodologies and being able to manage digital communication projects from conception to completion;
