HSE Training & Culture Specialist

The resource will be inserted within the HSE Training & Communication Department and will provide support in the definition and governance of regulatory, technical and cultural HSE training.

In particular, he will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Identify HSE training needs within the Saipem Group and develop training materials in line with the international regulations of the countries in which Saipem operates and of Saipem's management system, procedures and values.
  • Work in synergy with various internal and external interlocutors (HSEQ of the various Companies & Branches, HR, Training Providers) - in particular in the UK and FRANCE areas to guarantee the effectiveness of the implementation of the HSE training system at various levels (Group , Companies, Branch, Projects).
  • Ensure that training is delivered in compliance with the HSE training matrices, training objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of the training experience to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Structure training to accurately reflect the needs of learners in a range of training environments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training materials and delivery methodologies, to ensure the achievement of the set learning outcomes.
  • Update, improve and standardize the training materials used by all HSE trainers, to ensure a high quality standard of HSE training.
  •  Keep the HSE training portal updated, containing all HSE training materials, available to the entire community of HSE trainers.
  • Maintain sectoral expertise in the thematic areas of training, ensuring effective and updated transfer of knowledge.
  •  Support the development and implementation of HSE awareness campaigns and events, ensuring maximum diffusion and effectiveness of the initiatives.
  • Promote the Leadership in Health & Safety (LiHS) philosophy in all operational contexts.

Required profile:

  •  Passion for the world of HSE training and culture.
  •  At least 3 - 5 years' experience in HSE training and knowledge of HSE management systems (ISO 45001).
  •  Excellent knowledge of the English language, spoken and written, for comparison with international interlocutors.
  •  Excellent project management skills and autonomy in carrying out a training project.
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and strong spirit of collaboration in supporting the team's work and contributing to the achievement of the department's collective objectives. 
  •  Creativity and attitude towards personal growth and continuous improvement.
