The Project Risk Management function is looking for a new resource to be engaged with the goal to supervise the correct implementation of Company risk management methodology onto E&C projects in both proposal and execution phase. The function also promotes the spreading of risk management culture and ensure the training to project resources.
The function ensure that project risk activities are performed in agreement with approved Saipem standard procedures, and all the risk information are captured and regularly updated by projects into the Company tools.
Interface, where required, with the Corporate Risk Management function to ensure a transparent and updated projects risk profile monitoring.
Responsibilities:
During commercial phase and bid preparation:
- Participate to the bid risk analysis and relevant risk review meetings to ensure the completeness and consistency of the risk register and final project risk profile.
During project execution phase:
- Support the Project Risk Manager, with the leadership of Project Manager and involvement by all project key resources, the process of identifying, analysing, monitoring the project risks, assuring that project risk profile is correctly and constantly updated, and proactively contribute to consolidation of risks/opportunities estimates as well to their reconciliation within economic data if and once occurred.
- Check the consistency of the risk register to be used for the Project Status Report (PSR) preparation, according to pertinent Project Risk Management process and procedures.
- Organize and participate on a quarterly basis to the risk register review called "Check & Balance", which consists in a critical review of the risk register within the Company tool along with project responsible and project team members.
- Support the project team for the capitalization of knowledge related to the main unforeseen events occurred and / or risks / opportunities managed and / or mitigated with success
QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's/Master's degree.
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contract.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Previous proven experience in E&C risk management projects (4/5 years avg). Previous experience in project management is preferred, as well as coordination and managerial skills.
IT SKILLS: Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Sharepoint, Power BI (reporting systems), knowledge of risk management/project management guideline (ISO 31000, PMBoK).
SOFT SKILLS: Ability to work independently, a good problem-solving mindset and good interpersonal skill. Ability in communication and interface with project teams.
