You'll play an important role in our team, supporting project managers, optimizing project resource allocation, and ensuring a seamless flow of operations. With a keen eye for detail, you'll maintain a comprehensive overview of project status, and proactively identify opportunities for mitigation across projects. As our Planner, you will work with:

  • In Bid phase: Establish plans as part of the quotations in close cooperation with Vice Presidents and Project Managers and determine project resource requirements
  • In Execution phase: Detailing, follow-up and update of project plans and resource allocation, to effectively support project activities and achieve targets
  • Forecasting and Analysis: Utilize historical planning data and other relevant information to continuously improve the accuracy of future project proposals, plans and resource needs, and to identify potential challenges.
  • Risk Management: Identify together with the project team potential project risks and opportunities and support the project in the follow-up of these in terms of status of agreed mitigation and opportunity enhancing activities. Monitor external factors that could impact operations and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration among various stakeholders, including department heads, team members, and external partners. Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, emerging technologies and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Procurement: Act as Purchaser for Project purchases such as subcontracted engineering packages, external specialist analyses, model tests etc.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with QHSES function to ensure the use and improvement of relevant parts of the company’s Project execution methods and framework

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience in planning with MS Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and planning software/tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluent level in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
