Project Control Manager - Oil & Gas

As a Project Control Manager, you will join our Department, starting with an initial period in Chennai to learn about the project (6 months max) and then transfer to Perth/Karratha for 2/3 years, conducting the following activities:

  • Contract Management, Financial Management and Effective Communications;
  • Integrated Coordination: Ensure adequate coordination between Project Control disciplines, promoting close collaboration between Cost Control, Planning,Document Control, Accounting Receivable, Accounting Payable and Metric Computing;
  • Risk Management Support: Ensure adequate support for the management of Schedule Risk Analysis, through Project Control personnel. Reports and Analysis: Prepare weekly and monthly reports analyzing the physical progress of the works, costs and project status, providing information defined between customer.
  • Deviation Management: Monitor and analyze deviations from the project scope of work, identifying cost and time impacts, and proposing necessary corrective actions.
  • Variation management: Manage variant assessments and support the evaluation of Change Orders, Extra Works, any Claims from Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and/or insurance companies, coordinate the figure of the Accountant Project Presentations: Prepare documentation for presentations relating to the status of the project, using slides, graphs and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree;
  • At least 5 years of Experience gained in EPFC projects in the Oil & Gas / Energy / Chemical industry;
  • Knowledge of modularized systems;
  • Experience already gained in JV projects;
  • Availability to work on site daily;
  • Excellent communication in English (must).

  • Ability to manage/relate to multi-ethnic teams;
  • Ability to mediate and work under pressure.
