About the job

We are looking for a Vehicle  electronic testing and analysis join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting hierarchically to the Head of Vehicle Electronics Integration and functionally to the Coordinator of electronic testing and analysis.

You will be responsible for steering the testing of electronic systems/devices to ensure targets achievement in terms of requirements, performances and integration within the overall vehicle. You will cooperate with engineers in charge to develop electronic vehicle architecture/topology and devices (within the organizational unit or in other R&D functions for different testing purposes).

  • Building and maintaining test scheduling documentation, including test planning.
  • Booking the necessary facilities according to the test planning.
  • Coordinating and supervising the preparation and execution of test (close cooperation with Proto Shop for vehicles preparation).
  • Preparing, for each project, the necessary status reports (escalating criticalities).
  • Responsible for tendering, sourcing, steering and monitoring of external engineering partners.
  • Coordinating the creation of the test specification with support of R&D
  • Creating coverage analysis and monitor test executed both for e2e functions (including connected functions) and precertification for electronic components.
  • Supporting other departments and workshop activities in case of specific needs.
  • Coordinating, reviewing and supervising test on bus communication, voltage test, quiescent current test,e2e tests on functions (including connected functions), functional safety tests on safety relevant functions.
  • Reviewing the results and support to complaint management for KO tests tracking.
  • Supporting to drivers during functional safety tests for test execution in vehicle (controllability and fault injections).
  • Supporting in the maturity level evaluation judgement of the vehicle functions and SWs
  • Performing technical analysis on failures (vehicle level, functional level, component level), from all sources (internal tests, AS field, whole vehicle tests, production or quality).
  • Deciding which cases must be escalated and which not (pre-filter for Failure management) and route correctly the issues to the correct stakeholder.
  • Integrating the activities analysis with incident management ones.
  • Preparing technical documentation for management discussions in escalation meetings.
  • Supporting the reappear tests activities
  • Performing activities in vehicle, in first person, if necessary. Also driving autonomously.

 

About you

  • Engineering degree or technical institute
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar role
  • Experience in Automotive, Manufacturing Industries (similar processes/ complexity)
  • Fully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandatory
  • Planning and organization
