Naval Architect Lead (Offshore Wind)

As Naval Architect Lead, you will join our Offshore Wind/ Asset Based Services Engineering Department, in the business line Offshore Wind/ Asset Based Services, conducting the following activities:

  • Lead the Naval Engineering Team performing design activities for Offshore Wind Floating Foundations both during proposal and project execution phase, granting full alignment with Project requirements and respecting the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards;
  • Ensure all necessary Project interfaces are involved according to the Project Execution Plan;
  • Maintain and update planning and workloads prediction at Project level;
  • Check of naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports);
  • Maintain and develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering);
  • Develop feedback dossiers from completed projects;
  • Implement and control any preventive/corrective actions arising from audits or certification requirements;
  • Identify project and contract hot spots and criticalities

REQUISITES

  • Experience at least 7 years in similar positions
  • Degree in Naval Engineering discipline
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), additional languages are desirable
  • Knowledge of main standards related to offshore structures i.e. ships, offshore pipelines, subsea structures etc.
  • Knowledge of the more common numerical techniques and software used in Naval engineering and naval structural engineering such as FEM Techniques, Panel model based numerical, CFD.

LOCATION

Milan, Italy (possible trips in other offices and offshore sites).

LABOUR RELATIONSHIP

Permanent contract.
