Vessel Software Lead

Within the Asset Based Services Business Unit, we are looking for a Vessel Software Lead to be employed on board construction vessels worldwide.

In this position the resource will be involved in:

  • Coordinate and manage automation system on board the conventional and DP vessel, where experience and high level on automation knowledge is necessary
  • Be the responsible of electrical and electronic correct operation/maintenance ensuring the respect of HSE company procedures
  • Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, all automation system related to the pipe/flex lay equipment, pipe handling, lifting appliances and the rest of the system connected to the production side
  • Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures
  • Define maintenance work setting priorities and proposing maintenance schedule
  • Propose to the Chief Engineer or Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels, in order to maintain work continuity
  • Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance to safety procedures and practices
  • Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipments
  • Able to analyse and modify PLC software
  • Able to manage SCADA systems

Requirements:

  • Electrical/Technical or Professional High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of English (at least B1 level)
  • Available to work on offshore rotation on board the vessels at national and international level
  • Flexible and team player
