  2. Preparation of general specifications for the equipment under consideration.
  3. Preparation of technical specifications for the equipment under consideration (when required)
  4. Performance of thermal design for fired heaters and relevant accessories (APH system, ducting, stack, machinery, etc.)
  5. For fired heaters, preparation of API mechanical datasheet on Saipem/project form (basically A4 or A3 Excel file) taking in charge thermodynamic calculation outputs and project requirements, including conceptual general arrangement drawing.
  6. Preparation of sketches or conceptual drawings (when required) for flares and incinerators.
  7. For all combustion equipment, issue of all document/ specification needed for the issue for inquiry/ Material Requisition (Supply specification, I.D.S., battery limit graphical identification, etc.). The Supply Specification shall detail the general requirements, applicable documents/codes/standards, scope of supply, additional technical requirements, quality/inspection requirements, requirements about vendor documents, battery limits, etc. Main steps: first issue for inquiry and internal interdisciplinary checks; collection of comments from other disciplines (process, piping, electrical, instrumentation) and from the Client, management of the comments and report on the “Master Copy” of the document for the subsequent incorporation in the next issue; repetition of this cycle for any issue.
