HSE Culture and Training Specialist

The resource will be placed within the HSE Culture & Training Department - Governance & Development and will provide support in defining and governing HSE regulatory, preventive and cultural training.

In particular, they will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Identify training needs and develop training materials in line with regulations, management system, procedures and Saipem values.
  • Design, schedule and deliver HSE training using different training methodologies, tools and strategies (in class, online, e-learning, with the aid of virtual reality etc.).
  • Work in synergy with various internal and external interlocutors (Prevention and Protection Service, HSE, HR, Training Providers) to ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of the HSE training system.
  • Ensure that training is delivered in line with training objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of the training experience to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Structure training to accurately reflect the needs of learners in a range of training environments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training materials and delivery methodologies to ensure the achievement of predetermined learning outcomes.
  • Update, improve and standardize training materials used by all HSE trainers to ensure a high standard of HSE training.
  • Keep the HSE training portal up to date, containing all HSE training materials, available to the entire HSE trainer community.
  • Maintain sectoral competence in training subject areas, ensuring effective and up-to-date knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in the design and delivery of Train the Trainer programs aimed at developing and enhancing technical, relational and classroom management skills of the Saipem trainer community.
  • Support the qualification and certification process of internal HSE teachers.
  • Maintain the required documentation and digital records to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Analysis of HSE training data and feedback, aimed at continuous improvement of training design.
  • Support the development and implementation of HSE awareness campaigns and events, ensuring maximum dissemination and effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Promote the Leadership in Health & Safety (LiHS) philosophy in all operational contexts.

Profile required:

  • Passion for the world of training and HSE culture.
  • Experience of at least 3 - 5 years in the development, design and delivery of HSE regulatory, preventive and cultural training.
  • Knowledge of Italian legislation on HSE training (D. lgs. 81/2008 e Accordi Stato-Regione), the qualification as a teacher according to Italian legislation will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English, to deliver training sessions in both Italian and English.
  • Excellent project management skills and autonomy in carrying out a training project.
  • Excellent relational skills, ability to manage the classroom and any conflicts that may arise in the relationship with learners.
  • Empathy and strong spirit of collaboration in supporting the team's work and contributing to the achievement of the department's collective objectives.
  • Creativity and attitude towards personal growth and continuous improvement.
