Saipem SpA, Corporate Finance area, is looking for an M&A and Investments Valuation Analyst.
The person, within the corporate Strategy and M&A function, will become part of the Integrated Evaluations M&A and New Initiatives department, supporting the person responsible for the economic-financial evaluations and profitability analyzes of M&A operations, strategic New Initiatives and new investments by the Group.
Responsibility:
The person will be called upon to support the function in the following activities:
Requirements:
• Degree in Economics / Finance / Management Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in similar roles (economic evaluation and/or M&A) in investment banks, financial consultancy boutiques, Big 4 or financial valuation departments of structured companies in the industrial sector
• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting principles, financial modeling & valuation analysis, capital budgeting and corporate finance principles
• Reporting and presentation creation skills
• Excellent knowledge of the Office package
• Knowledge of financial market databases (e.g. Bloomberg) and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) appreciated
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English, the latter preferably improved through training/work experience in an international context
• Knowledge of French or another foreign language will be considered a plus
